Graduation 2026 Update

Dear Rogers ISD Community,
It is with disappointment that we announce tonight’s graduation ceremony for the Rogers High School Class of 2026 will be moved indoors to Doggett Gymnasium.

Doors will open at 7:00 PM, and only guests with tickets will be allowed inside the gym. The graduation ceremony will also be streamed live in the cafeteria, and any guests without tickets are welcome to view the ceremony there.
This decision was incredibly difficult and was made out of an abundance of caution after closely monitoring weather radar throughout the day. Current forecasts show not only traveling and uncertain storms, but also a high probability of lightning during the ceremony timeframe. This could create an unsafe situation for our students, staff, families, and guests — especially elderly guests or anyone who may have difficulty moving quickly in and out of the stadium if weather conditions were to suddenly worsen.
While we know this is not the setting we had hoped for, our priority must always be the safety of everyone attending this special event. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we work to celebrate the Class of 2026 in the safest way possible.
