R​ogers ISD is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide​ contracted S​peech-Language Pathology services in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

We invite your organization to review the attached Request for Proposal (RFP) and submit a proposal for consideration. The RFP includes detailed specifications, submission requirements, and evaluation criteria.

  • RFP Release Date: F​riday, September 12, 2025

  • Question Submission Deadline: T​hursday, September 18, 2025

  • Proposal Due Date: T​hursday, September 25, 2025

  • Anticipated Award Date: ​Monday, September 29, 2025

Submission Instructions:
Proposals m​ay be submitted electronically via email or an original paper copy. Late submissions will not be considered.

All questions regarding this RFP must be submitted in writing to​ Cheyenne Doskocil, Director of Business Operations at ​cdoskocil@rogersisd.org no later than ​Thursday, September 18, 2025. Questions from 9/15/2025

  • Past Vendors and Rates: Could you provide a list of previous vendors and the hourly rates paid for each discipline involved in the contract?

    • The district does not have any previous vendors. This is Rogers ISD’s first time contracting this service.

  • Service Coordinator Contact: Who is the designated individual coordinating the services for the various disciplines within the district, and could you share their contact information?

    • The campus principals and the Bell County Co-Op Special Education Director will be coordinating services. Contact information for those individuals will be provided to the awarded vendor.

  • School Day Hours: How many hours constitute a school day for the purposes of this contract?

    • 8 hours

  • School Year Duration: How many school days are scheduled per year?

    • The number of days each school year varies from 175-180 days. For 2025-2026 the number of days is 175.

  • Additional Disciplines: Are vendors permitted to bid on special education disciplines not explicitly listed in the RFP?

    • The district is not looking at any other contracted services at this time.

  • Teletherapy Option: Is the district open to the use of teletherapy for service delivery?

    • Yes, the district will consider teletherapy.

  • Electronic Signatures: Are electronic signatures acceptable for signing the bid documents?

    • Yes, electronic signatures are acceptable

  • Resume Requirements: Does the district require resumes to be included as part of the bid submission?

    • Yes, the district is requiring resumes. 

 

 

Questions from 9/16/2025

  • Would you consider proposals for only virtual (teletherapy) speech-language pathology services?

    • Yes, the district will consider teletherapy.

  • Can you share if there is a specific subject line for the electronic (emailed) submissions?

    • There is no specific subject line required. However, please include the RFP number in the subject line - RFP#2025-SLP-01

  • Would the district accept electronic signatures as part of the emailed proposal submission?

    • Yes, electronic signatures are acceptable.

  • If the vendor submits their proposal electronically via email, can you confirm that the district does not require a separate hard-copy mailed submission?

    • A mailed hard-copy is not required.

  • Does the district anticipate awarding more than one vendor for this RFP?

    • At this time, the district is expecting to award only one vendor.

  • Do you require resumes of potential service providers upon proposal submission, and if so, would you accept blind resumes with full names and license numbers withheld?

    • Yes, the district is requiring resumes. The district will accept blind or redacted resumes.

  • Can the "sample service log or progress report" be provided only upon award, as sample logs or reports can vary per SLP?

    • Yes, the district will allow sample logs to be provided upon reward.

  • Would the district provide its students with the hardware (e.g., computer, webcam, headsets, etc.), test kits, supplies, and other materials needed for services?

    • Yes, the district would provide students with needed supplies.

  • What is the anticipated or estimated budget for the SLP services?

    • There is currently no estimated budget for contracted SLP services.

  • How does the district handle price adjustments after the initial one-year term if the vendor seeks to negotiate a mutual price increase when renewed annually?

    • The District will consider price adjustments after the initial one-year term if the contract is renewed. Any requested price increase must be submitted in writing at least 60 days prior to the renewal date and must be fully documented. Price adjustments will not be automatic. They must be mutually agreed upon by both parties and approved by the district. The district reserves the right to reject any requested increase and, if necessary, to terminate or re-solicit the contract.

  • What are your current vendor names and rates for SLP services?

    • The district does not have any previous vendors. This is Rogers ISD’s first time contracting this service.
